DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) – A Dubuque man is facing several charges after police say he assaulted three officers.
Police say 42-year-old Andrew Walker became confrontational Tuesday night after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at his Dubuque home.
Authorities accused Walker of resisting arrest and punching an officer in the head. Walker was pepper-sprayed and eventually arrested, but during the struggle another officer suffered a shoulder injury.
Walker was eventually taken to the Dubuque County Jail. Court documents say Walker also threw his head backward striking the face of a third officer while being taken to jail.
Walker faces multiple charges, including assault on a peace officer and interfering with official acts.
Online court records don’t name a lawyer representing Walker who could answer questions about the charges.
