MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – Diehard Chick-fil-A fans are already camping out in the parking lot of the new store opening in Moline on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016.

A dozen people had pitched their tents by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, all of them intending to be among the first 100 customers who will get a year’s worth of free Chick-fil-A (which means 52 free combo meals over the span of a year) starting at 6 a.m. Thursday.

The company says the new store, which joins existing Quad City locations in Moline and Davenport, will bring 85 new jobs.

The new Moline location is on 41st Avenue just off John Deere Road near I-74 and is owned by Jon Klavohn, who the company says grew up 45 minutes from Moline.
