DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – The man police say was involved in July’s officer-involved shooting in Davenport has been taken into custody.
19-year-old Rodricco Parks was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 just before 10:00 P.M. Parks is charged with a number of offenses including:
- Assault on a police officer while displaying a weapon
- Criminal mischief in the 2nd degree
- Probation violation
- Driving under suspension
- Interference with official acts

Investigators say Parks was the driver of the car that two Davenport Police Officers shot at on Rockingham Road back on July 19, 2016. When officers tried to stop the car in a parking lot, the vehicle slammed into the squad car and drove off.
