Services set for Knox Co. woman, 19, killed in crash

Her boyfriend was hospitalized with serious injuries

KNOX COUNTY, Ill. (KWQC) – Services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016, for a Knoxville, Illinois woman killed in a crash on U.S. 150.

Sirana J. Johnston, 19, died last Friday when the car she was driving collided with a dump truck, according to Illinois State Police.

The accident seriously injured her boyfriend, Tyler Milam, of Creston, North Carolina, who was flown to a Peoria hospital with unspecified injuries.

Johnston’s funeral will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Galesburg, Illinois.

Johnston attended Knoxville High School and graduated from the RAES East Academy in Galesburg.

She was a dancer, played the violin and piano, and was working toward a law degree, according to her online obituary.
