Voter registration deadline in Illinois for Nov. 8 election


CAMBRIDGE, Ill.(KWQC) – It’s the last day to register to vote in Henry Co. Illinois for the November 8th election.
That means if you haven’t registered, or changed your address since the last time you voted, the deadline to do so by Oct. 11, 2016 in person or by mail, according to the Henry Co. Clerk.

There is a grace period after the deadline. You can register in person at specific locations, such as the county clerk’s office, but you will also have to vote at that time. Despite a pending lawsuit, election day registration will also be allowed.
