BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC) – Police have made an arrest in connection with a rash of broken windows in Burlington. On Tues., Oct. 11, 2016, police received several complaints from across the city about windows being shot out of vehicles and buildings with a BB gun.
The department’s Problem Oriented Policy Unit began investigating and at approximately 11:35 p.m., officers stopped of a vehicle suspected in the vandalism in the 700 block of South Main St. During the stop, police say a BB gun and pellets were recovered from the vehicle. Police interviewed the occupants of the vehicle and determined one of them was the person responsible for the vandalism.
The passenger was identified 19-year old Christian Jacob Adams of Burlington. He is charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance.
