UPDATE: The jury has found Wilson-Neuleib guilty on charges of murder and aggravated battery with a firearm. Sentencing will be held in six weeks.
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) – The trial of a teen accused of opening fire on a parked car in Moline last year is wrapping up in Rock Island County Court. 18-year-old LaMarree Wilson-Neuleib is accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Zachary Phillips and seriously wounding, then, 19-year-old Erik Roberson in May, 2015.
The defense rested its case Mon. Oct. 17, 2016 without Wilson-Neuleib taking the stand. The case has now been handed to the jury to decide.
