Iowa voting officials promote election integrity; release videos

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (KWQC) – With the recent campaign rhetoric suggesting corruption in the voting system, an organization representing Iowa election officials is pushing back.
The Iowa State Association of Counties issued a statement and along with a series of videos Tues. Oct. 18, 2016 with the message that voting in Iowa is free, fair and honest.

The three-part Voting in Iowa video series was created, with help from the the Iowa State Association of County Auditors, with the goal of increasing the number of voters, educating them on the voting process, and eliminating fear and intimidation. The association is comprised of county officials from the 99 counties in Iowa
