ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) – On Sunday, October 30th Quad Cities Cubs fans will board a bus at Jumer’s Casino to head to Chicago to watch Game 5 of the World Series.
Quad Cities Bus Trips offers bus ride packages for sporting events, musicals, and plays throughout the year. This year, they have two special packages for the World Series.
“It’s one of those things where hopefully it’s a clinch game,” says founder Aaron Rainey. “People just want to be down there.”
One package includes the bus ride, food and beverage and most importantly a rooftop ticket seat, which is on sale for $999.00.
Rainey says this is a steal compared to what else is out there.
“They’ll look at that and they still don’t get the value of what we do,” says Rainey. “Sit back, relax, have some beverages on the way.”
With each trip, the company does send a security escort to ensure everyone is having fun safely.
The other option is for fans who want to enjoy the Chicago atmosphere. For $100.00 fans can get a ride to Chicago to experience all that Wrigleyville has to offer.
Rainey says his company is the largest Cubs ticket purchaser of the year. He’s built a relationship with the Cubs over seven years.
“You definitely have to have an in to get these World Series tickets,” says Rainey.
On StubHub.com, the average ticket price is about $3,000.00. Cheapest ticket prices hover around $2,000.00.
