DIXON, Ill. (KWQC) – A powerful fire at the Credit Auto Sales car lot caused major damage Tuesday night.
Flames broke out at around 7:30 p.m. on October 25, 2016.
Dixon Rural Fire and eight other area departments responded to the scene and spent four hours getting the flames under control.
“The building is standing but it is mostly a complete loss,” a firefighter with the Dixon Fire Department told KWQC early Wednesday morning.
No firefighters were injured, and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
No word on whether any cars or other property on the lot is damaged.
