MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) — A closure on 41st St. off of John Deere Rd. was scheduled to begin the morning of Wednesday, October 26, 2016. The southbound lanes on 41st St. will be closed just north of Pine Ridge Ct., extending down to 38th Ave. (or Coaltown Rd.)
Crews will be paving the north end of 41st St. Northbound traffic won’t be affected, but drivers heading south to John Deere Rd. will need to find another route.
“It depends on which way they go, they can head over to 53rd Street, which is to the east, it should only take another five minutes out of their time,” said Brian Holliday, Resident Engineer with the Illinois Department of Transportation. “They could go either over to 53rd street to the east or they could go all the way over to [Interstate 74].”
The closure was slated to start between 8 and 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26th, and was expected to last two weeks.
