NBC (KWQC) – A majority of consumers plan to put themselves on their holiday shopping lists this year.
According to the National Retail Federation’s annual consumer spending survey, consumers plan to spend an average of $935.58 during the holiday shopping season.
They say most of the money will be spent on gifts and other items such as food, decorations, and greeting cards.
58 percent of consumers plan to buy for themselves as well.
They plan to spend an average of $139.61 and marking the second highest level of personal spending in the survey’s history.
