DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) — Military veterans and Iowans with disabilities can get some help with voting Thursday in Davenport.

A 45-minute workshop explains things like accessible voting equipment, absentee ballots and curbside voting.

The workshop is at the Scott County Administration Building on Thursday, October 27th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Any Iowan with a disability, or who cares for someone with a disability, is invited to attend.

“ID Action,” a project of the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council, and the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office is holding the event.

You can find resources to help Iowans with disabilities vote here.
