UPDATE: The Lee County Coroner confirms the body pulled from the Rock River on Sunday, October 30th is that of Zac O’Bryant. The coroner says he is waiting for toxicology reports to determine the cause of death, but did not find any signs of foul play.
DIXON, Ill. (KWQC)- The body of a man pulled from the Rock River on Saturday is believed to be that of a missing Dixon man.
The Lee County (IL) Sheriff, John Simonton says an autopsy still has to be performed to confirm the man’s identity. But, he believes it is 27-year-old Zac O’Bryant.
Family and friends posted on a Facebook page for O’Bryant, saying they were notified that the body was O’Bryant.
Fire crews were searching the river around 3:45 Saturday when they found the body along the north shore of the Rock River near the Dixon Ford Dealership on Route 2.
O’Bryant was last seen on October 18, leaving PatiO’s Irish Pub around 11 p.m.
