Man wanted in Sterling home invasion


STERLING, Ill (KWQC) – Police in Sterling are looking for a man wanted in a home invasion that resulted in an injury. Police say that around 2:30 a.m. Wed., Nov. 2, 2016, officers responded to a report of a home invasion in the 600 block of West LeFevre. The victim was take to the hospital, treated and later released.

Following an investigation police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Michael W.T. Bennett of Sterling. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Police say Bennett should be considered armed and dangerous.
