Davenport Police investigating two shots-fired incidents


DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Davenport Police are investigating two shots-fired calls that came in on Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the LeClaire Heights Park neighborhood near 6th Street and Farnam Street sometime Sunday afternoon. Police say that there were multiple calls made to report shots fired in the area. There were also reports of vehicles in a chase.

A white vehicle on scene with bumper damage is believed to be involved, but there are currently no reports of property damage, injuries, or casings found.

At approximately 4:34 pm, police were also called to the 800 block of Grand Ave.

Police are not yet releasing details about the second shots-fired call, and there’s no word yet on if the incidents are related.
