UPDATE 11/8/2016: City officials say that the boil order has been cancelled.

ERIE, Ill. (KWQC) — School officials in Erie cancelled classes due to a water line break in the village on Monday morning, November 7, 2016. We were told that due to the break, the campus was without water.

The break happened at 5th Street and village officials tell us crews had to turn off the water to everyone to repair the line. Officials say the break was fixed later in the morning and the water was turned back on. A boil order was put in effect until further notice.
