Man injured in farm machinery accident in Cedar County

MECHANICSVILLE, Iowa (KWQC) – One person was seriously injured in a farm equipment accident on Wed., Nov. 9, 2016. According to the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Franklin Ave. and Highway 30 in Mechanicsville around 11:25 a.m. on a report that a person was stuck in a combine head.

The 26-year-old man was removed from the scene and air-lifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City. His condition is not known.
