UPDATE: The repairs are complete. Iowa American Water Company says there is no need for customers to boil their water.
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) — People living in a west Davenport neighborhood are dealing with low water pressure or no water at all.
Early Thursday morning there was a water main break near the corner of Emerald Dr. and Locust St. According to Iowa America Water, the estimated repair time is 6 hours. At 6 a.m., crews were digging up the street and working on the break. A TV-6 crew said a rush of water was puddling on the road.
Customers along Emerald Dr., Laurel Ct. and High St. can expect low water pressure or no water. They may even notice discolored water. At least one viewer told TV-6 that his home on Emerald Dr. had no water.
