MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC) — They are the likeable comic strip characters created by Charles Schulz. Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang are featured in a family friendly
exhibit at the Muscatine Art Center. It’s titled: Peanuts … Naturally.
The exhibit is a lesson about education and the environment. Schulz explores the world through a series of comic strips, videos, and interactive stations.
Recycling, planting trees, growing a garden, and a general respect for the great outdoors are themes in this traveling exhibit.
Charlie Brown gets in trouble with the Environmental Protection Agency. Lucy claims the Earth has forty eight suns. Snoopy and Linus plant French fries in a garden.
There is an opening reception for the exhibit on November 10th. It begins at 3pm. Peanuts … Naturally. will be in Muscatine through February 26th.
