Man hurt in Burlington shooting


BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC)- One person is hurt after a shooting Thursday night in Burlington.  Police say it happened around 6:30 PM.  Officers responded to the 2400-block of Flint Hills Drive after a report saying multiple gunshots had been fired in the area.

Once on scene, officers found the victim, a 28-year-old male, who had been shot at least once. He was transported to Great River Medical Center and later transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Witnesses tell police there are at least two suspects in the shooting and that they ran from the scene.
