MT. PLEASANT, Iowa (KWQC) – A driver walked away from a rollover crash in Henry County this week. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of the accident at the intersection of Highway 218 and 295th St. on Mon,. Nov. 21, 2016 around 4 p.m.
Officers say a Chevy HHR, driven by Alisha Elisabeth Thomson of Kahoka, Mo. was traveling southbound on 218 and went off onto the gravel portion of the shoulder. Thomson lost traction and over-corrected, eventually losing control of the vehicle. The vehicle then crossed 295th St. and rolled the two times coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Thomson was not hurt. She was cited for failure to maintain control.
