Two stabbed in Fort Madison bar fight

fort-madison-policeFORT MADISON, Iowa (KWQC) – Fort Madison Police are searching for suspects from a bar fight that left two people injured.

According to police, on Sunday, November 27, 2016, police received a call about a disturbance at the Kinnick South Bar on the 1300 block of 14th Street. The call came in just after midnight.  When officers arrived they found two men outside the bar with apparent knife wounds. The first man received injuries to his upper right thigh and stomach. The second man was injured in his left arm and right side of his back.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

Suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Madison Police Department at 319-372-2525.
