MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) — Officers participating in the No Shave November finally got to shave after a month raising money for Tudi’s Tribe.

The razors at Ray’z Barber Shop got to work around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 30, 2016. Before the big shave, officers were judged in several categories, including sexiest beard, most colorful beard and best beard.

After a photo of those participating, officers were offered a free shave by the barbers.

According the the Moline Police Department’s Facebook page, the November event raised money for charity. Chief Hankins presented a check to Tudi’s Tribe for $3400. They say this will “send five families to Disney World for one week, all expenses paid.”
